Bobbing for hot dogs, doggie massage, The Muttley Crew canine athletes — your dog can’t miss this. It’s the largest dog-friendly event in Northern California. It’s the 3rd annual Bay Area Pet Fair & Adoptathon this weekend in San Rafael.

Join the Woof Reporters, over 5,000 pet people and 400+ adoptable animals for a weekend of fun, demonstrations, performances and more. With many humane agencies coming together to find forever homes for dogs, cats, rabbits, birds and guinea pigs, this is by far the largest multi-agency adoption event in the state. It’s so successful that over 400 pets found new homes during the past two pet fairs. And you can even bring your dog along!

Check out this line up:

  • Adorable adoptable animals to meet and over 100 pet-related vendors to visit.
  • Demonstrations, performances and expert presentations, including The Muttley Crew canine athletes, animal nutrition, massage and more.
  • A Kids Pavilion complete with face painting, humane educators and opportunities to interact with the animals.
  • Cool dog stuff including bobbing for hot dogs, an agility course, trick and recall training.
  • Even enter your adopted shelter or rescue dog in “The OTHER Dog Show” for the title of “Most Muttalicious”. If your dog came from a shelter or rescue, you can enter the show!

The Pet Fair makes a huge difference in the lives of California pets. Please join the Woof Report in supporting this rewarding event in honor of the animals that bring so much to our lives.
