Say “bone jour” to this hip boutique that’s so easy on the eyes. A feast of color and selection, so artfully displayed, it’s the doggie shop sublime.

Find arctic puffy jackets and camo-parkas as cool as a San Francisco summer. And for those afternoon trots around the Mission, don’t skip the rocker T-shirts (Sex Pistols, Ramones, you name it) and the sporty euro soccer jerseys, just right for watching the World Cup.

Looking for the right collar to set off your dog’s brindle highlights? Osso & Company lines the walls with quality collars and harnesses in every color and shade you can imagine. And speaking of color, check out the gorgeous hand-made ceramic bowls from Milan. Made to order in cute shapes and shiny variations in hue, it’s almost a sin to fill them with kibble.

And here’s the word on the street:  Osso & Company’s two owners are extremely helpful and involved in pet rescues.  The last Friday of each month (that’s this Friday, at the Broderick location only) they host a Yappy Hour for pets and parents from 7 to 8 pm. Parents enjoy refreshments and Hors d’ouveres while doggies snack on treats. Ten percent of profits from purchases made go directly to NOPNA North Panhandle Neighborhood Association.

Paws down, a spot worth sniffin’.
