Does your dog have plans this Saturday night? Why not join him for drinks at Doc’s Clock? Saddle up to the bar with a cast of San Francisco’s top dog people and their canine escorts — it’s Rocket Dog Rescue time.

Hundreds of Bay Area pups thank their lucky stars for Rocket Dog. This all-volunteer nonprofit group is dedicated to saving homeless and abandoned animals from euthanasia in overcrowded shelters. By placing non-aggressive dogs in foster homes, the dogs learn their manners, get up to date on vaccinations and ready for permanent, loving homes.

By joining the scene and silent auction at Doc’s Clock, you help lend a paw to rescue pups around the bay. One hundred percent of the auction proceeds directly benefit dogs in need. Bid on items from Wag Hotel, tickets for Bimbo’s, dog training gift certificates, and goodies from other local dog-related businesses. And have a drink while you’re there – with 50% of bar proceeds headed to Rocket Dog Rescue, it goes down easy.

Funds from the big night help make Rocket Dog Rescue dreams come true. With your support they plan to purchase and convert a San Francisco warehouse into an urban sanctuary for dogs. And, you’ll even get to meet the stars of the night – available rescue dogs for adoption.

All this… just for hanging out at a bar with your best friend? We say leash up and go. We’ll save a seat for you (and your dog) at the bar.
