Welcome and thank you for visiting!
Back in 2008, I created Woof Report, a daily email newsletter for dogs and their people. Years later, the newsletters came to an end, but I could never leave my beloved ‘pet project’ behind. I knew one day Woof Report would be back…and that time is now!
Things have changed since Woof Report first launched – after all, that was 70 dog years ago!
There are now thousands of dog blogs and endless websites and newsletters. In some ways, this is fantastic – there’s more information than ever about our favorite topic. At the same time, it’s overwhelming – how can you find the good stuff, which sites can you trust, and how can you keep up?
Enter the new Woof Report!
Sign up for the Woof Report newsletter and get the best of the web (and beyond) for dogs and their people delivered directly to your inbox each Friday.
Each week, I’ll search my 100+ trusted sources and deliver to you the most fascinating, timely, and useful dog news and resources. Each email includes the latest from Woof Report, from TheDogList.com, and a Top Dog of the Week. (Find out how your dog can be featured!).
I hope you enjoy Woof Report as much as I enjoy creating it for you!
Please share Woof Report with other dog lovers and contact me anytime to share your thoughts on the newsletter. Tell me what your ideal dog newsletter would include each week! I look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks again for visiting!
The Former Woof Report Team & Advisors
Many thanks to the former Woof Reporters, Sue, Nina, and Manolo, for working with me to create and grow Woof Report. And thank you to Woof Report advisors Adam Behrens, VMD and expert dog trainer, Michael Wombacher, who lent their expertise for earlier tips.
Woof Report Consultants
The inspiration for Woof Report came from a lifelong love of animals and my own fur family, which includes the very spoiled Larry, whose photos you’ll see throughout the site and also Ted the tabby cat, whom we sadly said goodbye to in 2015 at age 15. We welcomed George the cat to our family in November 2018 and you can see him on Instagram.
Larry was adopted from Pound Puppy Rescue in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he was one of a litter of seven Black Lab/Border Collie pups. Larry is the greatest dog (even though I know your dog is the greatest dog too!). Larry is loving, ball- and food-obsessed, and thinks he’s a lap dog, often sitting entirely on my lap blocking my view of the computer screen. Larry and I are obsessed with each other and I wouldn’t have it any other way. With Larry, I’m doing my best to teach my girls how to appreciate, love, and care for dogs and all animals. I reside just north of San Francisco with my so-called Woof Report Consultants, my husband Mike, two daughters, George and of course, Larry.
